I’m losing the battle to just concentrate on cleaning things up. Keep adding additional content as I’m cleaning up the existing content. Bad, naughty Zoot! Am trying to do the cleanup on a section-by-section basis. Have the Executive section completed, with pages showing past exec by name, position, and year. None of those pages were on my initial “let’s clean this sucker up” to do list but once I got in there, I couldn’t help myself.  Now I’m looking at the Stimulus section and it’s crying out for an issue-by-issue content index.  And every time I look at the Links page, the ODP editor in me wants to just keep adding more sections and more links.

Must. Stop.

The STCEO’s 49th annual AGM took place last night. Turnout was a little low–only 11 people in total. Since there was only one nominee for each of the four elected executive positions, they (or, rather, we) were acclaimed. It should be an interesting coming year. It’s STCEO’s 50th anniversary this coming year and it could potentially be a make-or-break year. We brainstormed some ideas for the coming year and the incoming exec will be meeting in a couple of weeks to continue that process. In general, we’re concentrating on programs and the newsletter.

Got the OK to move the site to a new Web host at the last executive meeting but haven’t had time to prep the site for the move (pretty much involves finishing the redesign and making sure that the forms, etc., work on the new server). The domain name expires in October and is registered with Network Solutions so we may have trouble getting it transferred over to the new host (Network Solutions is quick to lock a domain in months and months before it is due to expire).

Haven’t had much time to finish the redesign. Been working like mad for the last few months on a project at work that we finally pushed out the door (yay, us!). Haven’t visited the STC forums in months, either, and I should.
