Just got the news that we have a new provisional STC chapter for Atlantic Canada. Don’t have a lot of details about it yet but we (and I personally) will be offering whatever assistance we can to help them get things off the ground. If you’re interested in joining that chapter, let me know and I’ll put you in touch with someone there.
As an aside, I just realized that the Montreal chapter was also in provisional status. From the notice added to the site today, it looks like they managed to get a full slate of volunteers for the elected positions and so are hopefully no longer in provisional status.

The new chapter will hopefully be ratified in mid June when the board convenes.
I’m slated as the interim president so if you’re interested in joining or know of people who may be, let me know. There’s a lot of work that needs doin to get this thing rolling!
